6 Roommate Red Flags To Watch For When Meeting Someone New

Knowing how to meet up with a new potential roommate safely seems like common sense, but is it? It is for someone who has done online dating or sold something to a stranger on Craigslist.

How to Sign a Rental Agreement with Your Roommates [and Landlord]

Signing a rental or lease agreement can be serious business. It’s a legal binding contract between you and your landlord. If you have roommates, there most likely going to sign this with you as another co-tenant. Unless other arrangments are made.

If you are a property owner and renting out rooms or other units you’ll be the landlord. So providing the rental agreement and authorization … READ MORE

I was in total disbelief that they would ask me this, but I found it a bit humorous at the same time. A bunch of other cleaning problems came up after that too, and I was not going to be their maid. They moved out a couple of months later.

The lesson here was I could have saved a lot of time if I knew about the cleaning problem before they moved in. So I always bring that story up and see … READ MORE
